In 2016, a group of like-minded partners left established practice with one belief: to build a firm shaped not just by its business, but by its culture, its values and the way it treats its people.
Ten years on, Aquinas Law has grown from 6 people to a team of close to 40, serving clients across Singapore, ASEAN, China and India. We have been recognised among The Straits Times Singapore’s Best Law Firms for five consecutive years.

Founding of Aquinas Law Alliance LLP. Aquinas Law is formed by a group of like-minded partners formerly from Dacheng Wong Alliance LLP, Singapore's first China-Singapore joint venture law firm. From inception, the Firm is built around Corporate Law/M&A, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, and Private Client/International Real Estate — with a distinct cross-border, China-Singapore orientation.
Building the Cross-Border Platform. The Firm establishes itself in Singapore's boutique legal market, growing its corporate, dispute resolution, and private client practices. Early groundwork is laid for the regional and international alliances that would later come to define Aquinas Law's market positioning. Growing from a team of 6 to 15.
Growing our Capabilities – We acquired two corporate secretarial firms and, with a team of ten, formed Integra Solutions Pte Ltd, Aquinas Law’s corporate secretarial arm. The Firm is named to the ST Singapore’s Best Law Firms list (since 2022) and is ranked by Chambers and Partners for Singapore Startups & Emerging Companies (since 2023), marking its emergence in the upper tier of Singapore’s boutique law firms.
Aquinas Law was named “Singapore Law Firm of the Year” at the Asialaw Client Choice Awards 2024 — a career-defining recognition for the Firm. The same year, Aquinas Law was recognised across Capital Markets, Restructuring & Insolvency, and Technology & Telecommunications in Asialaw Profiles, and as a Notable firm for Capital Markets in IFLR1000. By then, Aquinas Law had grown to a headcount of close to 40. We also appointed our first female partner, Nichola Koh.
On the regional front, the Firm was a finalist in the ALB SE Asia Law Awards for Singapore Law Firm of the Year and a winner at the Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards 2026 in the category for Client Satisfaction – Singapore. Aquinas Law also took on a third equity partner, Mark Cham, Head of Dispute Resolution. We marked a milestone in our journey, our 10th anniversary, which we celebrated with close to 50 team members across Aquinas Law, Integra Solutions, and our other related entities, ALA Consulting Pte Ltd and ALA Advisors Pte Ltd.
